Forming an LLC
Two individuals and a company approached our office wanting to jointly found a business association. By skillfully preparing the necessary documents and filing them with the court, we helped our clients realize their plan.
Legal Representation of a Minor Victim
A minor victim working a summer student job was first verbally and then physically harassed by a boss 50 years older, and was finally raped; the boss then kept the victim under his influence for months with gifts and various promises. Once the victim realized that the elderly boss was only taking advantage, they asked their parents for help, who turned to us to represent the minor victim. Our office filed the criminal complaint and moved for the perpetrator to be held accountable.
Defense in an Embezzlement Case
The substitute private prosecutor accused the defendant of embezzling the share capital of a company founded by the prosecutor, in the defendant's capacity as the company's managing director. The defendant engaged us to conduct the defense.
Representing the Plaintiff in a Defective Performance Claim
The plaintiff company bought a 13-year-old truck from the defendant car dealer. After the truck was loaded, it turned out that the vehicle's leaf springs were broken, so the truck was unfit for hauling cargo. As the defendant company did not respond to the plaintiff's complaint, the plaintiff engaged our office to enforce its claim arising from the defective performance.
Representing the Defendant in a Car Sale Dispute
The defendant advertised and sold a 20-year-old passenger car to the plaintiff. Two months later, after more than 1,800 km, the car broke down and became unusable. The plaintiff sued the defendant to recover the purchase price. The defendant engaged our office to represent them in the lawsuit.
Defense in an Arson Case
The elderly defendant and the victim lived in a family house; the defendant used the lower floor, while the victim and their family used the upper floor. The defendant and the victim were siblings. The water meter for the whole house was in the defendant's name. The victim ran up a substantial water debt, which the utility collected from the defendant. Because the victim, despite repeated requests and demands, refused to settle the debt, the defendant, after a verbal conflict, set fire to the entrance door of the victim's part of the house. An investigation was opened against the defendant for attempted homicide of several persons, and their arrest was ordered. The defendant's family engaged us to conduct the defense.
